Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Telearn, including our Telegram bot, website at telearn.net, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, sending messages to the bot, or browsing our website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Minimum age. You must be at least 13 years old to use Telearn. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

Compliance. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Telearn complies with Telegram's Terms of Service and all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including export controls and local data-protection rules where they apply.

Registration. You may create an account through the Telegram bot using your Telegram identity, or by registering with an email and password on the website. One person may not maintain multiple free-tier accounts to circumvent usage limits.

Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Do not share your login details or bot-linked identity with others.

Notify us immediately at support@telearn.net if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts showing signs of compromise until ownership is verified.

Plans. Telearn offers free and paid subscription tiers (such as Gold and Diamond). Paid plans are billed monthly unless otherwise stated. Prices, message limits, voice minutes, and feature details are described on our Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.

Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal. You can view your plan, usage, and cancellation options from within the Telegram bot.

Refunds. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe a billing error occurred. We do not provide refunds for partial months after substantial usage of paid features, except where required by law.

Taxes. Listed prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required by your payment provider or local regulations.

You agree to use Telearn only for personal language learning and related lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use Telearn to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others
• Submit content that is illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, probe, or exploit the Service or its AI systems
• Share account credentials, resell access, or operate shared accounts for commercial tutoring without authorization
• Send spam, malware, or automated bulk requests beyond normal personal use
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, subscription tiers, or security controls
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or organization

We reserve the right to investigate violations, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts without refund when necessary to protect users and the Service.

Nature of AI. Telearn uses artificial intelligence to generate language coaching, translations, grammar corrections, pronunciation feedback, and other responses. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate in edge cases.

No professional advice. AI responses should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, financial, immigration, or certified exam advice. Telearn does not guarantee fluency outcomes, test scores, or job placement.

Your judgment. You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content in conversations, studies, and submissions to schools or employers.

Telearn integrates with third-party platforms and providers, including Telegram for messaging, payment processors for subscriptions, and AI infrastructure for generating responses. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by third parties outside our reasonable control. If Telegram or a payment partner becomes unavailable, some features may be temporarily limited.

Our property. Telearn and its logos, design, software, documentation, and branded model names are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal language learning.

Your content. You retain ownership of the messages and content you submit. By using Telearn, you grant us a license to process your content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Feedback. If you send suggestions or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without obligation or compensation.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Telegram platform availability, network conditions, and third-party AI providers may affect response quality and uptime.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELEARN AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR LEARNING OUTCOMES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50 if you use the free tier.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Telearn and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights through content you submit.

By you. You may stop using Telearn at any time. Cancel paid subscriptions before renewal to avoid future charges.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, pose a security risk, or if we discontinue the Service or your region's access.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — remain in effect.

We may revise these Terms to reflect new features, pricing, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and may notify active users through the Telegram bot or email where appropriate.

Your continued use of Telearn after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Telearn operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction as applicable under local law.
